At a Night of Champions event held at Ithaca High School, three student-athletes from Watkins Glen Central School District were named ESPN Ithaca’s Athletes of the Year. Skye Honrath was recognized for her achievements in soccer, Kendra Fish for her performance in swimming, and Enric Lin for his accomplishments in tennis.

In addition to the student awards, the district’s Athletic Director, Erich Kramer, received the Athletic Director Appreciation Award for his dedication and leadership.
