GENEVA, N.Y. — Geneva Firefighters Local 2859 said Green Shift Training was held yesterday focusing on patient packaging and extrication, including a technique using a ground ladder secured to a Stokes basket and rope to lower a patient from a window or roof, and officials stressed there is never just one way to perform a task in the fire service.
